The Xiangshan Ancient City Heritage Revitalization Project (Phase I) has recently been completed, reopening the iconic Yueshan Park, a cherished landmark spanning generations of Zhongshan residents.

Located in Shiqi sub-district, the project encompasses the original site of Yueshan Park and surrounding areas. Key upgrades include the construction of Tiecheng Hall, Southern Garden green spaces, public squares, as well as electrical infrastructure, water supply and drainage systems, and supporting facilities. 

Originally established in 1934 through community-funded efforts, Yueshan Park stands as a municipal-level protected cultural heritage site classified as a "modern historical site and representative structure" in Zhongshan.
